The new generation of Mech-Eye 3D cameras
In addition to the new laser-based Mech-Eye LSR, we will also present the new generation of Mech-Eye PRO cameras with many improved features:Mech-Eye 3D cameras are characterized by particularly high-resolution sensors for the creation of precise point clouds. The Mech-Eye PRO series was designed for typical robotic applications in industry and logistics and now features 100 % improved ambient light resistance (for monochrome versions), 75 % lower temperature drift, 40 % faster scanning speed and a more compact design. For difficult lighting conditions, the laser-based Mech-Eye LSR is particularly suitable. The new version has 100 % improved ambient light resistance and a 50 % more compact design, and now also enables colour 3D point clouds for better 3D imaging.
Application highlights
Random bin picking of various objects in different sizes, shapes and surface structures as well as the exact localisation of components is a major challenge for robots. By using outstanding camera technology combined with artificial intelligence and deep learning, Mech-Mind enables diverse automation, commissioning and manufacturing processes that are controlled with the help of 3D vision.

Mech-Mind Robotics PickAnything is a great solution for random Bin Picking. It supports model-free picking and is based on several perfectly synchronized components, working hand-in-hand to provide the perfect result.
- Automatic path planning of a car doorIn this operation, the Mech-Eye 3D camera detects the exact position and orientation of the door and adjusts the path planning accordingly. Advanced algorithms such as collision detection, planning of the gripping poses and motion planning enable fast programming and error prevention.
