Mech-Mind Robotics launches the new 3D-camera Mech-Eye DEEP

The new Mech-Eye DEEP 3D camera is the perfect solution for logistics applications. Combining fast acquisition time, large field of view and high working distance, it can quickly and easily detect complete pallets. The precise and detailed RGB point clouds enable the automation of a wide range of logistics processes. Thanks to the integrated laser technology, a wide variety of objects are optimally detected even at high working distances under difficult lighting conditions.

The Mech-Eye DEEP 3D camera is the latest addition to Mech-Mind Robotics' 3D camera portfolio. It was specially developed for logistics and palletizing applications with a particularly large field of view. Latest laser stripe light technology enables an enormously high point cloud accuracy even at large working distances and difficult lighting conditions. Thanks to the integrated RGB sensor, even colored cartons and colored bags can be detected. Even objects in a wide variety of colors, shapes and surfaces, as well as densely stacked containers and metal drums, are reliably identified. With its extremely fast acquisition time, the Mech-Eye DEEP is an optimal component for vision-guided robot applications in logistics.

Compared to the previous model, both weight and size have been significantly reduced. This allows an even more flexible installation. Numerous interfaces allow the use of third-party software in addition to Mech-Mind software.
